I'm using PGenerator 1.6 and when connecting in ColourSpace 1.0.0.1918 nothing happens when I try to output HDR/DV. The resolution selector is empty and the EDID button shows blank output, could that be the problem? Or have I misunderstood how it works, I thought you could set patches to off, set HDR, enable patches and then PGenerator would output a HDR signal?

As per the software release notes:

-- Includes pre-release of EDID viewer
(Not presently working with PGen)

And yes, PGen will send HDR if enabled correctly.
Sounds like you do not have the configurations set correctly?

Ensure that you have enabled the enhanced HDMI color from your TV's HDMI port.

One of the Pi4 HDMI ports is the 'correct' port.

If you use a case with two micro-HDMI ports, the correct port is the one near the USB-C.

If you use Argon ONE with standard HDMI ports, the correct port is away from USB-C.

You can use the Settings Template in DeviceControl to check your HDMI port; click the EDID at the bottom of the Template.... it has to populate data only for the HDMI A1 port when you use the 'correct' port.

I was running on a Raspberry Pi 3. With the Pi 4 it worked. I have to start labelling them.

I have my 3b+ and 4 in different case styles. No confusion that way.
