Hello,

I am trying the DSP version to understand better the interfaces proposed,
Unfortunately I do not manage to make recognize my I1D3 and I have access only to the simulation probe.
Think you that it is normal?

I use XP and other soft like HCFR or Calman view my probe.

That suggest you have not applied the DPS license.
Or, you have not ticked the i1D3 option box in 'Discoverable Probes'.

Any of the above will cause the problem you describe.

Hi Steve,

I have i1D3 option box in 'Discoverable Probes'.
When I start DSP for the first time I already found the DPS license (same that the one receive by mail) in the answer windows.
It surprised me because I thought of having to type it, I thus am to satisfy with accepting.

Yep, that all looks good.
So, all should work...
I wonder if the other software is stopping LightSpace from seeing the probe???

Can't think of anything else as it does just work normally...

But, having the license already visible in the License window means that the license has previously been entered on that PC.
You may have installed LightSpace DPS twice???

I'd un-install all LightSpace software and re-install clean.

I do not think of having installed it twice.
I am going to try on my labtop (W7 instead XP) to see.

On my Labtop I get this: http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/46/gl05.jpg/
Is it the DSP Software?

That's the general demo activation.
Activate that, then use the License number via 'Help / License'.

Done, but I get the same thing, no connection.
Asset LightSpace, I launch HCFR who well take control of the probe what implies that it is available and that DSP did not manage to connect in the first one.
Is there a log of debug which I could send you?

Sounds like you have a software conflict.
I would un-install all software that attempts to use the i1D3 and try LightSpace on its own.

Hello Steve,
Unfortunately I'm in the same boat with the same problems

The i1D3 is not active. When I check it in the drop list and then start MEASURE, the virtual probe is working instead.
Also I can see the plotted result after each measurement but it does not stay any longer, ie the CIE diagram is empty when le job is done.

I also connected the mini3D but nothing happens.

Is the DSP part of Light Illusion CMS or is it a separate piece of software?

Done + restart computer, same DSP behavior , nobody answering as a probe.

As said previously, sounds like a software clash with the probe not being recognised?
Works perfectly here, so there must be a 'system' variation with your configuration, but I do not know what...

Not at all sure what you mean about the CIE diagram though?
The plots will be there during the profiling and immediately after but they are not saved.
So if you close the profiling menu the plots will be lost.

And not sure what you mean by connecting the mini3D and nothing happened - what did you expect to happen?
Did you access the Upload menu as per the instructions?

All LightSpace software is exactly the same, just with different options activated via the license code.

Does that help?

Just to confirm, I have re-installed LightSpace DPS on my PC and it sees the i1Display Pro perfectly.

There must be something strange with your configuration that we don't understand.

If you can isolate it further we can look into it..

Where did the i1D3 probes come from?

Direct from the US via xRite Swizterland.

Is there a part of Xrite Software to pre-instal for DSK, sorry SDK interface use?
