For users looking for the ultimate in calibration accuracy - gaining the last few % of accuracy - ColourSpace provides access to totally unique profiling capabilities that can focus on the Target colour space, making sure all profiling measurements are tailored towards generating the best possible 3D calibration LUT for any given target colour space.

This 'Focused Patch Set' capability uses a two-pass profiling approach, using a first profile pass to define the required colour patches for a second, focused profiling pass, and generates seriously unheard of levels of calibration accuracy!

Advanced Profiling & Calibration
(If necessary, refresh your browser cache, and click on the Advanced Profiling & Calibration option)

Any volumetric patch set can be used, including User Generated, when defining the new Focused Patch Set...

Hi! I'm using ColourSpace 1.0.0.1292 with HTL license. Is this functionality available at my license level? Because the only place where I see the Active LUT functionality is in the profiling window, settings tab. And I don't understand how I could "Use the generated LUT to export a new, focused patch set, via the LUT Active option", so maybe it's something not available for my license level and I thought to ask.

Thank you.

Yes - in the Characterisation menu.

Hmmm... maybe I got it. Correct me if I am wrong and this is not the correct procedure.

Have the first LUT generated under Active LUT in the Settings tab.
Go to Characterisation tab, click on Custom Sequences/Manage. In the resulting window have the original sequence loaded, tick the Export LUT option that will display the LUT one has previously selected under Active LUT, and then click Export Sequence.

Correct? Do you think this will work with better results if used for the custom sequences that go with the LG OLEDs calibration guides?

See the post on the 'Extended Range' bug...

Right... once the bug is solved, is the procedure I described the correct one? And would it lead to potentially more accurate results when using the custom patch sets the guides suggest?

Thanks for confirming! I find the product you offer absolutely fascinating. I have to restrain myself or I would be spending all my time in testing all the incredible capabilities on offer. Hats off, really.
