The downloadable Example Reports have been tweaked a bit, and a new Before_After_Landscape added, for those that want to download the new versions.
Following on from mrtickleuk's changes, the dE values layouts now use Tables.
(Download via the usual Customers Downloads page of the website.)

[replying to the earlier post about new gaps, but I messed up the quoting]
Yes. I wasn't presenting my changes in any way a "finished report" - just a quick example of how I aligned the min/average/max columns (as in the graphic in my original post). I was adding in the ITP table as an experiment. Hopefully it's enough though, to illustrate how to replace the tabbed min/average/max stuff with slightly nicer versions that align, for anyone who wants to.

[in reply to the later post about updating the reports]
Cool, glad it was useful! Thanks

Yep, totally agree - it is a good start at showing what is possible
And I've updated the actual Example Reports based on your changes.

Great, happy to be able to contribute something our replies crossed over.

The downloadable Example Reports has a couple of additional examples added, based on Reports generated by other users, and a Report we have generated for a customer performing Manual Calibrations only.

Additionally, the latest release of ColourSpace has a new 'dE Thresholds' option in the Report Settings.
This enables the values set for the different 'Green, Orange, Red' range thresholds to be altered to match any values manually set in the template.

By default the ranges are:
<1 - Green
>1 <2.3 - Orange
>2.3 - Red

Therefore the user can define the 1 and 2.3 values to be anything else within the Layout Template, as desired, and then configure the Threshold settings within Reports to match.

Thanks for this new feature, I like it a lot.

For a future feature request, it would be really great if the two values the user has set for those items could be exposed as two new variables that the template could use. This would enable the descriptions in the template - currently "1" and "2.3" as text - to dynamically change and always reflect the values which have been chosen for that session, rather than being hard-coded. (Hope I've explained that properly)

Development is always on-going.
And there are more additions to Reports coming.
But right now, the Threshold setting is designed to work as defined.

In readiness for our next ColourSpace release, the customer downloadable Example Reports have been updated to included examples of two new automated Tokens.

  • {notes}
  • {hardware_name}

(Actually, the {notes} token has been there from the beginning, but there was no <notes></notes> tag in Profiles - this has now been added via the Graph Options menu.)

Notes

Within the Notes contents, Report Tokens are treated as plain text, so will 'print' as raw text.
HTML Markup will be parsed as HTML, so <b>text</b> will print as text.

The {hardware_name} option will insert the name of the attached hardware, so TPG name, Display name, LUT Box name.

There will also be a new User Tokens option {U_xxxxx}, to add repetitive user specific info.
(This is not included in the Example Reports.)

The website Interactive User Guide has already been updated.
