Someone with PGenerator with HDFury can check and compare.

It will require defining mastering monitor parameters (black/white/maxCLL/maxFALL), colorspace, and white point.

HDFury Linker (or better models like Vertex, Vertex 4K60, or Integral 2) can inject all these parameters.

Thanks Ted,
I have a proper set of HDR files on a USB drive, but would have to manually measure. Could I use these to compare?

I assume there would be increased error if the Sony TV HDR Video mode was not an effective method compared to the USB files

If you know the exact RGB triplets for these files to be able to create and use a custom patchlist, then it will work.

If the USB HDR files with metadata measure the same as Pgen + HDR mode on Sony then safe to say the Pgen + HDR Video Mode is accurate

I suspect that Sony HDMI settings [HDR mode -> HDR10] would be similar to LG HDR override, where 8 bit grayscale is scaled appropriately for PQ tracking. In other words, this would be ok to use for grayscale.
