As we discussed via phone, the profile was totally invalid, due to a lack of Extra Delay while profiling.
(It does help to use the graphs to verify any profile for issues before trying to generate a LUT.)

Consequently, ColourSpace was trying its best to calculate a LUT based on invalid data.
It would have eventually generated a result - but it would not have been a viable LUT due to garbage-in = garbage-out.

I have got the software running on my Macbook Pro utilizing windows 11 through parallels. The challenge I am having is the Colorimetry Research installer refuses to install the drivers for the CR100 and CR250. I have ran the driver install through the CRinstaller app, as well as just the driver installed. Everytime it just gives me a error that the installation has failed. Any advice on installing the drivers on the M1 Pro Macbook pro?

Are you trying to install CR software on macOS or Windows?

I am not having luck running ColourSpace ZRO version 1.0.0.1629 on an M2 MacBook Air. I am using VMWare Fusion 13.0.2 with Windows 11 Pro. I can activate my license, I get an immediate fail when opening the Profile Tool. I have attached the errors produced.

I prefer the VMWare Fusion 13 for Windows 11. Switched after Parallels wanted to charge me again after the first year. Shades of Calman. I could swear I asked for the permanent license.

ColourSpace crashing when opening a Profiling window is usually caused by bad OpenGL drivers.
Try a Search on this forum for discussions on that.

I have heard not great things regarding VMWare Fusion 13 in general.
For what is worth, I had limited success (i1Pro2 drivers being incompatible with ARM arch, but might not impact you) running ColorSpace on M1 via Parallels.

You can get Parallels via 1 time purchase for $129.99 to avoid subscriptions. I still run Parallels 17 on my Mojave. It supports limited number of cores, but it was superfast anyhow with ColorSpace. They have a trial you can use to see if everything working for you.

Thanks Steve,

I checked, VMWare Fusion 13 does not support Open GL in Windows VMs on Apple Silicon. You were exactly right.

Before I throw more money at Parallels, does the i1 Pro 2 now work in Parallels?

It has been conformed on another forum that ColourSpace will work on M1/M2 Macs using UTM and Win11 for ARM, so long as Mesa 3D Mesa 3D graphics library is also installed.
(Potentially via the 'perappdeploy' script from Github.)

I installed the Mesa 3D graphics library on my VMware Fusion 13.0.2 Windows 11 Pro VM. My M2 MacBook Air is the host.

I needed to search for perappdeploy on GitHub. I used mesa3d-23.1.1-release-msvc.7z from the releases page. There are four ways to install the OpenGL support with that release. Only using perappdeploy.cmd works, systemwidedeploy.cmd does not. Input the ColourSpace install folder, then the ColourSpace executable name. You must then select the x86 install when prompted, the other two installations will not work. I took the rest of the default options given for the install.

The good news is the ColourSpaceZRO works with my i1D3 and PGenerator. I hooked up both using a USB-C dongle that includes USB-A and Ethernet ports. I do not doubt that ColourSpace CMS licenses will also work using this method.

As expected, my i1 Pro 2 would not connect, I tried hard, but it would not connect. There may be more instruments that will not connect.
