Hi
I have just ran the latest October update.
It has installed into ;
C:\Users\Admin\AppData\Local\Programs\Light Illusion\ColourSpace
but there is still a copy here:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Light Illusion\ColourSpace

Maybe I missed some intructions somewhere, but what is the recommended procedure for maintaining a clean single installation?
Can I delete the x86 folder?
Is there an uninstaller to remove anything obsolete?

You should install using the same Installation Option every time.

You have both installed for Single User, and for All Users.

Uninstall both, using the normal Windows Uninstall Programs option, and re-install using the option you want to install with.

Thanks Steve
That explains the two locations.
Guess it is just hard to know each time which I have done last time.
Now we are out of beta, can Colourspace auto update from within the app to avoid this confusion?

No, we will not action 'AutoUpdates', as most customers do not want that.

I don't mean auto, just the possibility to open the app, (possibly opt in to new update notifications), and update it rather than log in, download and completely re-install each time. Just be nice to have that process streamlined

Me may have a flag that says when a new version is available when ColourSpace opens, but updates will always remain as they are.

We will not automate any updating.

OK.
Just seems most software allows you to check for and install updates from within the software but then this is engineering, so always best to go the roundabout way!
Thanks for listening to feedback and helping solve problems.
One day I will actually learn how to use this thing properly
