Im trying DeviceControl for the first time and I'm stuck at 'error connecting to device'.

When I set up the new device I copied the IP address available to me from the tv menu. (192.168.178.29).

Is there any other thing I might have missed? Does the tv need to be 'unlocked' first for example?

So, I figured it out. You need to go to professional 1 or 2 picture setting, choose 'lock settings', enter pin, which is: i,0,8,5 and unlock the isf setting. After that the tv connects to Device Control.

Before connecting follow this guide on tv:
open picture menu
in picture -> Viewing Mode, select Professional / Professional 2
in picture -> Lock Settings enter the pin i085
Go to isfccc Network and press OK on the remote.
