I'm shopping for an aftermarket (new) i1 Pro 2 Rev E spectrophotometer (to use with my i1 Display Pro) and have noticed there are a few models that are significantly less expensive:

- EFI ES-2000 (EO2-EFI-ULZW)
- and the X‑Rite i1 PRO 2 Color calibrator Rev e UV Cut M2

are these compatible with LightSpace DPS? Will there be any difference in accuracy or capabilities?

From feedback from other users, it appears they work.
But, you should not use the UV Cut versions for calibration.

We provide no guarantees, as we have never tested them.

Something important when you buy i1PRO2 is when it's been manufactured, there is a month/year marking to the i1PRO2 sticker with serial number.

EFI has discontinued these meters some years before, so any stock available are old stock of meters.

Some (branded) UV Cut i1PRO2's are limited (from their firmware) to work in M2 mode only, so when you connect them in LightSpace or Calman, the meter is working in compatibility (i1PRO1) mode, so you are loosing the initial auto-drifting correction procedure the i1PRO2 has.

The Xerox i1PRO2 UV Cut is known for that issue, maybe there others.

If I buy it from light illusion shop, it will be the model with functional auto-drifting?

Sure, and you will get a meter directly from X-Rite's headquarters, so it will be from the last manufactured batch of meters (not a store stock).
