We have released a new ColourSpace Beta update with advanced Klein probe 'Intelligent Integration'.

This greatly enhances the already impressive accuracy of Klein probes, especially in low-light readings.
The new additions have two sections.

Max Integration Time, which set the maximum time up to which the K10-A (and K80) will integrate all readings over.

And Intelligent integration, which sets a threshold nits value, below which the Klein probes will start with the set Max Integration Time, and then increase the integration time in repetitive readings until a stable value is read, up to the absolute maximum integration time.

Those on the ColourSpace Beta Program know how to access the new build.

Just for info - this is not a new Klein API or development.
This is a new ColourSpace development, that changes the way the Klein API is integrated, and uses a unique approach to managing K10-A integration.

Adding a bit more info, as 'Intelligent Integration' means the probe actually gets to take an accurate reading, and doesn't just average out a number of bad readings, as is the case with Calman's recent attempt at improving K10-A readings.

Interquartile mean (IQM) (or midmean) is a statistical measure of central tendency based on the truncated mean of the interquartile range. The IQM is very similar to the scoring method used in sports that are evaluated by a panel of judges: discard the lowest and the highest scores; calculate the mean value of the remaining scores.

This is what Interquartile Averaging Noise Reduction is... just averaging bad readings.
