LightSpace Grey Only Profile to Radiance 1D LUT Only

Hello,

I was curious how to use one of the "Gray Only" quick profiles in LightSpace and upload ONLY a 1D LUT for the Radiance Pro? I no longer want to use Calman Autocal for calibrating the Radiance 1D LUT.

The grey only profiles still contains red, green and blue patches. So it seems when I go to Convert Colour Space, LightSpace still wants to create a 3D LUT with this profile.

I know I am overlooking something obvious. Do I just remove the RGB patches from the grey only profile before running it?

That is actually not a stupid question!

At preset, LightSpace uploads the 1D LUT and 3D LUT simultaneously.
So ideally you profile with a full volumetric path set, not a Grey Only profile.

But, we will be changing this in a future LightSpace release, separating the 1D Upload from the 3D, so the 1D LUT can be done first, followed by the 3D LUT.

Keep an eye on the LightSpace updates info to see when this change is made.
