I currently work for a sales/rental house based in Geneva and we provide cameras such as the PMW F3. I would like to provide a DIT chart to my customers but dont know where to find a workshop to attend. I need to be able to fully understand the data management workflow, the basic primary color correction done on set and the manipulation of LUTs and conforming process. Any suggestion on where i could find a good 3 to 5 days workshop ?

Also, has anyone tested the Gemini recorder using 3GSDI when recording DPX files ?

Thank you for your inputs.

I don't know of any workshops that would do as you are looking for - but many DITs use LightSpace CMS for all colour control.

I'm not actually sure what you mean by a DIT chart?

I would suggest getting to know the demo of LightSpace, and reading the associate documentation. That should get you well versed in colour and colour management.

And I've not had a play with the Gemini - I would suggest asking that (and to be honest your other questions) on the CML (Cinematography Mailing List). A good group there.
