Hi all

I want to add a big client/main monitor to my grading suite in which currently I use a 24" TVLogic.
What is you recommendation? Both of these models are in the same price range and my budget (around $8000) and work directly with Lightspace.
Extra inches is a definite plus for FSI and also it has more capabilities (3D, Scopes,..) but what about color accuracy, black level and viewing angles?

Have you ever seen them side by side?

I would say the FSI.
The Penta is good, but their LightSpace compatibility is not as good as FSI.
And FSI support is second to none - and I hold a lot of sway with the quality of support.

Just going on the technical side of things - both are very similar.

Thanks Steve,

FSI published a CIE chart in their website for CM500TD and it seems that it will not cover all Rec709 gamut.
Have you measured it yet?

All evals we have get the display just about bang-on.
But, I would put that question to Bram at FSI directly
