Hello folks,
I have just tried to calibrate my Philips 279P1 display, 4k Display with covering more than 100% of sRGB. Just to outline, what I have done:
- Using the Java Calibration Client on MacOS and Parallels with Windows 11 and the i1Display Pro
- Have set sRGB as Target at aiming vor 120cd/m2
- Have set white (255) to 120cd/m2 as well es IRE30 - using the controls of the display, mainly Brightness / Contrast
- Have used R/G/B controls (which are very basic) to get harmony on the white balance
Of course, the last two steps have been repeated.
The picture looks okay for me, nevertheless, the primary color of green is far away, with a dE of 13. The other primaries are looking little bit better, but not close to dE 2. The MacOS is having "sRGB IEC61966-2.1" as Profile.
Did I miss anything during calibration? Or where could I had next for?
