Hi Steve,

I have a 2019 MacBook Pro that I would like to calibrate, I run windows 10 pro via boot camp, it is the machine I have ColourSpace on. To profile I will be using my i1d3 and the inbuilt colourspace tpg. Would the best settings be DCI P3 d65 with 8 bit full scale L32 patches or would full window be better? I have a HTX licence so I have icc profile generation via Space man.

After I generate the LUT and import it into Spaceman would the correct settings be assimilate, display, wide gamut rgb power law? Then load the icc into the windows colour management?

Thanks Steve, look forward to hearing back from you.

Aaron.

The basic workflow is correct.
But the requred settings for the different aspects of the profiling and calibration are an unknown.

Different PC/Mac screens will require different settings, and without having your actual laptop here it is unfortunately impossible to say what is needed.

Sorry to say, you'll really need use trial & error...

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your reply, it's good to know that my workflow is at least correct and that I just need to figure out appropriate settings. I think I have the appropriate settings and am running the profile now.

Thanks.

Aaron.
