LightSpace Connect enables LightSpace CMS to be used to measure and profile mobile phone screens, tablets, and connected TVs, monitors and displays, enabling users and manufacturers alike to verify screen capabilities.

Using Screen Mirroring any variations between a TV's HDMI inputs and direct streaming can be compared to assessed any differences.

Have some of the target devices been tested for accuracy in both grayscale and colour gamut? With Calman Mobile Forge, Chromecast devices were found to be accurate for grayscale but not for colour gamut whereas Fire TV and Fire stick were accurate for both.

We are still in the process of running tests...
But, to a degree it doesn't matter, as if you are going to use the same device for viewing real content the calibration process will correct out any errors.

For example, many DVD/Blu-ray players are not accurate, and therefore we would always suggest using Ted's LightSpace calibration disc with LightSpace for calibration using DIP mode, so the full viewing chain is calibrated.

Are they still in business and supporting LC? Maybe their website has moved.

Either way perhaps someone here will know the answer to my question - if I buy the full version (which is an in-app purchase) for my Android phone which I then replace, does that purchase carry through for other phones on the same google account if I replace the phone or is it per-device and I'd have to buy it again? TIA

Oh - we were not aware the Caplaz website link is no longer active.
But, the company has other products on Google Play.
(Although the website links on Google Play go to the same address as our page...)

The developer does have a Light Illusion email account, so you can try that: stefano@lightillusion.com
However, as the development is 3rd party, we actually do not know development info, etc.

But, I do think all Google Play apps can be moved between phones, as they link to the Google Play account, not the hardware?
Google Play must have such info somewhere?

I have the in-app purchase on both the Android and iOS apps and I can confirm the app purchase will transfer across devices signed into the same account.

I have used the Android app on 4 different Android phones of various brands and the iOS app on at least 5 different iPhones and 3 different Apple TV devices with no issues.
