i1Display Pro - black current subtraction?

X-rite advertises a new "black current subtraction technology" for display with a low black floor (such OLEDs or JVC projectors). Is this purely a software trick with their own software, in which case it's of no interest, or does the i1displaypro Plus have a better sensitivity than the other probes near black? Just trying to get a confirmation that the probes are physically identical, including in their ability to read near black (which is the main limitation of the i1display pro compared to more able probes in this area).

As has been explained elsewhere, it was never implemented...
Marketing that never turned into an actual development.

Thanks for your quick reply.
So the hardware is the same?
Shame they still advertise a feature that was never implemented.
