You can try deleting the INI file.
That save the various settings, so if corrupt I guess could cause issues?

I renamed C:\Users\webdo\AppData\Roaming\ColourSpace and now v937 works. I will copy back my saved items

Hi Steve,

I have my profiles back, but I don't see my LUTs and I cannot locate them on the filesystem. Do you know where LUTs are kept so I can restore them?
Thanks

If you purposely exported or added a reference image and saved them, they're likely in your Pictures folder.

LUTs are not saved within ColourSpace - never have been.
They need to exported before ColoutSpace is closed.

But you can obviously regenerate them at any time from the original profiles.

Got it.

Still getting occasional crashed with a clean install of v937. I will look at windows events tomorrow to see if that is revealing. V937 never crashed.

We will need to know if the crash can be replicated.
If it can, there may be a bug you have found that others have not.
But please make sure you are on the latest build.

Hi Steve,

v994 seems to be working well.

I decided to import an existing LUT in order to make it unity at low light levels. I found that the edit controls were locked even when I made a copy of the lut. How do I unlock the edit controls?

Thanks

You would need to upgrade to HTP, as the website Features Matrix shows.

I did some testing with a cooled astrophotography camera vs the i1Display Pro 3 near black. With no LUT and 0 brightness on my LG C9, the astro camera was accurate within ~.0002 nits for video codes from 16-27. The i1Display with integration on has about .0063 nits of distortion errors.

Due to i1Display distortion it appears logical that any Colourspace LUT with my i1 Pro/i1Display will be distorted near black. I have noticed that my LUTs are distorted near black.

I don't need the full LUT edit abilities of ColourSpace HTP. I only need my LUTs to be unity near black in order to address poor low light performance from affordable consumer colorimeters.

Is there any affordable way to preset a unity LUT below .1 nits so I can avoid this LUT problem short of paying an additional $1200?

Thanks

If you think about the various tools and capabilities provided within ColourSpace, you should be able to work out a number of different possibilities that would get you the result you are after.

I'm in a bit of a devilish mood at the moment, so I'm going to let you think about that, and see if you can workout a way to achieve your desired result.
(Hint: there are such workflow explanations within the website...)

Let me know how you get on!

I am thinking that "limit minimum luminance" might result in a unity LUT transform below a set level. However this google search has no hits (("lightspace" |"colourspace") "minimum luminance"). So I can find no confirming documentation on limiting minimum luminance. It doe not make sense to me that it would force a display with an artificially raised black level. Who would want that?
