Spectral power distribution and colour matching function [Answered]

We all know that spectrometer can read the whole spectrum data, but some older models only support the calculation of XYZ through CIE1931.
Can ColourSpace add functions to support reading spectral data, build in various CMFs (even custom CMFs) and calculate XYZ in the software?
In this way, we can go back to CIE1931 to define different RGB (or RGBW) targets for different monitors and calibrate them, so as to achieve a visual effect closer to the reference monitor.

Changes/additions to Spectro operation are on our existing WIBNI list.
No timescales though.
