As the title says, when connecting my i1d3 i only have "Generic CMF" available as a pre-set calibration matrix.
The i1d3 Support Files folder has all the usual edr´s present.
I´m using Colourspace v1496.
Any ideas why this is happening?

Sounds like an issue with your installation.
It is not a bug within ColourSpace itself.
Have you fully uninstalled, and re-installed?
And checked that you do not have access restrictions for the user?

Hi Steve,

Yes, i have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling (for all users, so no restrictions).

I've tried a full uninstall, etc., here, and nothing I do causes the EDR pre-sets to be missing...
We've also had no such reports for may other users.

Sorry to say, this really looks like an issue with your specific setup.

It's entirely possible that somehow the OP's Windows "Permissions" got snarled up. I've had the same thing happen on mine with other software at times. When this occurs, the software has no access to support files or libraries it tries to link to, despite their being in the correct places on the drive.

Uninstalled Colourspace and cleaned any traces of it from my ssd and registry. Did a new install and the problem still persists...

Thanks for the suggestion.

Checked Permissions and all groups\users have full control of the Colourspace folder as well as the i1d3 support files folder...

Could any (disabled) Windows Service be causing this?

If you do not have a full Windows installation there are no guarantees at all...

After spending much of the day double checking permissions and services, and with the issue persisting, i tried installing ColourSpace in a different laptop (this one with Win10, which contrary to Win 11, asks for a system restart after installing).
Since it was purely for testing and thus i didn´t care where it got installed, i accepted the default location. Problem solved, the matrix list populates.
Went back to my daily laptop, and instead of installing CS to where i was installing it before, i accepted the default location and the list populates.

That would definitely suggest you have a 'permissions' issue with the original location installation.

Yes, that seems to be it.

In contrast to my original custom instalation folder, Program Files (x86) and all child folders have some extra entries in the "Group or user names" field of the security tab: "All Application Packages", "All restricted App Packages", "TrustedInstaller", and "Creator Owner".

Odd that none of the other many programs i have installed on my custom programs folder (and whose folders have none of the refered extra permissions entries) have given me any issues. For instance, DisplayCal is able to access and populate a dropdown list with CCSS files located in other folder...

If given the choice by an installer, i never ever install programs in the default proposed folder. Lightspace and now Colourspace have always worked fine were i chose to install them. Something new with Windows 11 maybe?

We're going to have a look at the installer, to see if there is something we can change there...
