Open Beta, no connection to LG27EP950 [Fixed]

I am using the current open beta version 1564, and when trying to connect to my LG27EP950 via the "LG Pro" setting on the hardware options tab I am getting the Error: "setCtrlMode failure".
Do I need to install drivers, or to install the LG calibration software?

I would update the LG monitor firmware.
Weirdly, the version may 'show' as being higher than the real latest, which is v3.20 (or slightly higher).
It has been reported the firmware may show as v3.5.0, but that is older...
You use LG's 'OnScreen Control' software to update the firmware.

Hey again,
I updated to version 1582 and now I cannot upload any LUTs to the LG27EP950 anymore. I can connect, and I can profile directly using the displays iTPG. However when trying to upload a LUT I am getting this error:
Error: getBrightness failure

I tried to upload to Calibration, BT709 and PQ Picture Modes with all Peak Brightness settings. I left the brightness setting in the interactive controls untouched.
Any idea whats going on?

PS: this issue also arises when trying to upload the Unity Bypass lut.

Unfortunately, no we have no idea, as we have seen no such issues.
And so far, feedback from other users also reports no similar issues.
There must be some setting or configuration within your display we are not aware of.
But we have no idea what that may be?
Have you tried a factory reset?

Yes I have tried the factory reset.
But it does not feel like an issue with the display.
Because just to be sure, I went multiple time back and forth with versions 1582 and 1564. The 1564 could always upload and the 1582 could not.
So I can very confidently say that the upload works in 1564 but does not work for 1582.

You say that you had no such issues, what model did you test, the 32 or the 27 inch model? Perhaps the two are not entirely identical..?

Presently, we have no idea...
This is obviously what Beta testing is all about.
We have had one other user now report similar issues, but still cannot replicate ourselves.
We will have to wait for more feedback.

Yes, of course I'm aware that this is beta, and this wasn't a reproach in any way, shape or form. I am was just trying lay down the facts.
Actually I'd be happy to help, if there is anything I could do to support you.

The error message "setCtrlMode failure" may indicate that the connection between the computer and monitor is not set correctly or that the monitor does not support the "LG Pro" feature. The fast speed assumes that the HDMI or DisplayPort cable is properly connected to the monitor and computer. If that doesn't help, you can try updating the graphics card drivers on your computer. Separately used drivers or the LG driver selector program is most often not required, as they are usually included in the standard Windows driver set.

In discussions with LG, we have concluded the issue is a communication one, and only happens on specific PCs that for whatever reason have extra fast Com Port communication.
(Using a different PC, with slower coms speeds, for ColourSpace would work... or maybe even using a USB-2 port, rather than USB-3.)
We will need to add additional coms delay into the LG integration to slow-down the communication.

Additionally, the HLG option within the ColourSpace GUI is an LG experimental option, not presently available to end users.
It has been enabled on the LG monitor we have, and we were not aware it was not available to all.
