The Colorimetry Research CR-300RH is a compact, ultra-high resolution spectrophotometer with a 2nm bandwidth and 0.8nm/pixel optical resolution. This is a very high specification, and is for ultra critical colour applications.
The 2nm spectral bandwidth of the CR-300RH is a requirement of narrow bandwidth displays, such as laser based projection.
Uniquely, the CR-300H has a large 20+mm spot size, with small divergence angle, making it ideal for contact and non-contact measurement of all displays and projectors.
The CR-300RH designed for all display types, and can measure all projection - including laser based - as well as all luminous display technologies, and excels in low light, high accuracy for measurement of colour displays including DLP, D-ILA, SXRD, plasma, liquid crystal displays (LCDs), organic light emitting diodes (OLED) displays, in contact and non-contact modes.
The CR-300RH is of very rugged construction, made of machined aluminium and stainless steel, with all optical components fixed to ensure that no optical misalignment can occur, and weighs 2.5 pound (1.134kg).
All CR-300RH probes are calibrated using NIST traceable calibration standards at a colour temperature of 2856 Kelvins, using a laboratory grade scanning double monochromator and high accuracy filters of known transmittance and chromaticity. Essentially, no other spectroradiometers are used during manufacturing and Q.A. because none of them are as accurate as a laboratory grade scanning double monochromator.
