When generating 3D LUTs, or reviewing the action of existing LUTs it is often difficult to view the result the LUT has on images without having direct access to the actual system the LUT is being generated for.
With LightSpace CMS it is possible to view the result of any LUT on any image, or with the LUT Burn-in option a sequence of images, as well as see a 3D graphical display of the LUT being used.
Image showing active multiple LUTs
The following image shows the 3D LUT Viewer with a DPX LOG image, and when you hover your mouse over it the image will show the result of a 3D Print LUT, showing the color gamut and gamma difference.
LUT Viewer (move mouse over image to see alternate LUT)
There is a 'zoom' function built into the LUT Viewer to enable pixel-to-pixel viewing.
The Viewer also includes a display of the LUT numerical details, as well as a 3D graphical representation of the LUT.
