Nope - I sent Kristian a request for an update a few days ago... no reply so far.

I really am unimpressed with BMD at the moment!

On August 21, Kristian Lam emailed me apologizing for the late response, and stating "Steve shaw did get in touch with me we're looking into the issue he's reported."

Yep, they have been 'looking into the issues' for a year, since I first brought them to their attention... no progress so far

I emailed Kristian as well, will update here if I get a response...

Are there other 3D LUT holder boxes that output 10-bit ?

Thanks.

Davio, Pluto, Tcube and the three main 'professional' LUT boxes...

eeColor say "This should work. We will be able to confirm sometime in December as we'll have access to Quantum Data HDMI analyzer and will be able to verfity 10 bits in and out of the box."

I'll keep you informed.

Steve,

just checking: did you mean "are the three main 'professional' LUT boxes..." or are 3 additional boxes you did not mention ?

Thanks.

3 main professional (that means with HDSDI capability).

The 'and' should have been 'are'...

Sorry to say BMD have given up even communication about the problems...

After admitting there was a problem, and suggesting they would look into it, all has gone quiet.
No e-mails answered for months. And certainly no fix released.

We have given up on them...

Is this a problem when using SDI loop-through, or only with DVI conversion?

Any connection, when a LUT is used.

The box is unusable for any accurate LUT application.

Ugh. Well glad I found this thread before I unpacked the HDlink Pro we just got in for our new grading room. Back to BH it goes. Honestly, between this, the BMCC shipping problems and the Hyperdeck Studio Pro blow back they are dealing with I don't see how they sell any product at all anymore.

So, what card/box would you recommend at this point. We'll be going from DaVinci to a PanaPlasma. Had bought the HDlink primarily for the SDIHDMI an LUTs.

What about live grading softwares like LiveGrade and LinkColor? These work with an HDLink Pro, but I'm not sure they apply a LUT per say. Does the device have the same accuracy problems in this scenario?
